We started with a simple belief that music is joy, and joy is meant to be shared.
That belief first crystallized as Tonic, a practice platform now beloved by hundreds of thousands of musicians around the world. What we learned while building it is that people don't fall in love with music alone in a practice room. They fall in love with it together: through a kind teacher, a supportive circle, someone who witnesses the journey, an appreciative audience who will carry on the feeling of the music.
Tonic Notes is the next movement of our mission. If community is where the joy lives, teachers are where it begins. We built this app in collaboration with music educators and top institutions, and every feature is given life through the voices of hundreds of students, teachers, and parents. Music has always been a deeply human pursuit, and we want to honor that.
